Difference second hand & refurbished
Second-hand products can be called something other than Refurbished. On this page we explain the differences to you. There are basically three forms of a product statement in electronics.

As Good As New
You would say that Refurbished and Secondhand are the same, after all they are both used goods that are resold. However, refurbished is different from second-hand because refurbished goods have been checked and overhauled. Refurbished goods are tested for quality and function during a strict inspection and, if necessary, parts are replaced or repaired. After this, the device is cleaned and data is deleted. The software is updated to the latest possible version.

New accessories are often included, but the main difference is the warranty. Second-hand products often have no or only a limited warranty, because it has not been checked, the seller cannot take the risk of offering a long warranty. You also see that second-hand electronics are only sold by end users themselves, for example on marktplaats. Refurbished products are often supplied with a minimum 3-month warranty, at refurbished.nl products are supplied with a three-year warranty.
With Refurbished you buy certainty. A second-hand product is therefore often offered by a user himself, without a warranty or other form of security.
So if you are looking for a used phone, for example, you don't have to go through all the trouble of scouring marketplaces or social media, and you don't have to take any risks, but you can with certainty purchase a refurbished phone with warranty online from us.
